Ourika Valley Day Trip start at 9:00 am, from your hotel in Marrakech, then to the Atlas Mountains. Firstly, we take a short drive from Marrakech to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. After that we continue our drive along the valley of Ourika and pass through successive mountain villages. As you go up the hills, we will make stops by various wonderful landscapes.
After that we make a stop in the village of Setti Fatma. Enjoy a short hike and discover beautiful waterfalls known for swimming, and take in breathtaking views of the surrounding valley from the trail.
After the Setti Fatma hike, you will see how argan oil is made in a local cooperative and you will be able to take pictures at the scenic vantage points where we will stop along the way.Visit the Ourika valley and discover the village and the Berber culture.
Your day in the Atlas Mountains ends with a drop-off at your hotel.

Pick up from the hotel at 10 am and return at 5 pm. We visited an argan and spice cooperative, a Berber house and a carpet specialist during the day. We went to see the waterfalls after the Berber house. It is a bit of a long hike but not too difficult. It is worth the effort, but if you are worried about heights it can be difficult. We hiked down the mountain and stopped for lunch. A lovely traditional meal, and then we headed back. A great day. We were looked after by Ali as our guide for the day and Mohamed was our local guide for the mountain. We highly recommend this excursion.
